1. Float down the Fairmont River

Grab your favorite flotation device and embark on a float down the Fairmont River! Whether you choose kayaks, paddleboards, a floating swan, or a dinghy, any of these options will guarantee an enjoyable experience as you leisurely float along the scenic river.

Logistics: The float typically takes around 2 hours, unless you prefer a more intense experience and decide to paddle the entire way, which would take approximately an hour.

Driving: In terms of driving logistics, you will require two cars. One car should be left at the end of the float route, while the other should be parked at the starting point.

When you finish your float (don’t forget your keys) have the driver bring a friend to pick up the car at the start point.

Don’t forget to pack snacks, plenty of water, sunscreen and a hat as it can get toasty on the river! Lastly, life jackets should be worn as the water is moving quite quickly.
